About SAS
Art has been my life’s work.
The studio is where it all came together.
My name is Kurt Buesching, and I’ve spent over 40 years immersed in the world of art, design, and photography. Studio Art Services is not a recent business venture – it’s the natural evolution of what I’ve always done for myself and my friends.
This is a hands-on, deeply personal operation built on decades of experience in both traditional and digital art practices.
From my early days doing picture framing and fine art preservation in college, to working in professional photo studios, photo labs, and digital print service bureaus, I’ve always approached visual work with care, precision, and a deep respect for the artist’s vision.
Over the years, my own artwork and pieces I’ve framed or helped prepare for others have been exhibited in museums and galleries in Detroit, Chicago and New York.
In addition to my fine art and studio practice, I’ve worked in advertising and graphic communications, specializing in web design and development, and even spent 10 years as an adjunct professor at Detroit’s College for Creative Studies, one of the country’s leading art and design schools.
I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree from Wayne State University School of Fine & Performing Arts and have earned a number of other design and development awards and certifications since then.
Now, I’m opening the doors of my studio to a select number of clients who need the kind of specialized, quality-focused work that only comes from years of doing it. Whether you’re an emerging artist or a seasoned professional, I’d be honored to help you present, document, and share your work in the best possible way.
